It's in Elegance trim, with all the toys.
VW, Seat and several others do a similar-sized model, but we liked the Skoda best.
It's a variant of the VW Up!, with a revised rear. The boot is deep and useful, with a real spare wheel beneath.
The Ivory interior really lightens it up and adds to the feeling of space. Headroom is excellent, front and rear.
The alloy wheels are part of the trim level. We chose the 4-door because the 2-door is awkward for rear access.
The front seats are heated and the radio has a single CD slot. Front windows are electric.
There is an integrated Garmin SatNav/Media Player/Trip Computer/Info. Centre, which detaches for use on foot.
The engine is 3-cylinder, 75HP, 999cc petrol, driving through a 5-speed Auto/TipTronic box. Very quiet and sweet.
All-in-all, a very impressive little car. It's comfortable, quiet and economic and makes a great companion to the "E" Class Mercedes. Same colour, too!
